Terms of Service ("Terms") — Contract
These Terms are a contract between you and Tournado Private Limited. They govern your use of Tournado app, Websites, Services, Products, and Content (collectively, the “Services”). By using Tournado, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, you can’t use Tournado. We may change these Terms at any time; by using Tournado on or after the effective date, you agree to the new Terms.
Content rights & responsibilities
By scoring matches and tournaments on Tournado, you grant us a non‑exclusive license to publish them on the Tournado platform (website, apps, etc.) and to do things reasonably related to publishing (storing, displaying, reformatting, aggregating, distributing). In consideration for access and use of the platform, you agree that Tournado may enable advertising on the platform, including in connection with display of your content or other information. We may also use your content to promote Tournado and sell premium features by aggregating, normalising and enriching your scores.
Our content and services
We reserve all rights in Tournado’s look and feel. Some parts of Tournado are licensed under third‑party open‑source licenses; we also make some of our own code available under open‑source licenses. Except where permitted by law or express written permission from Tournado, you may not copy or adapt any portion of our code or visual design elements (including logos).
Acceptable & prohibited use
- Do not access or tamper with non‑public areas of the Services, our systems, or our providers’ systems.
- Use only published interfaces (e.g., APIs) to access or search the Services.
- Do not forge headers or use the Services to send altered, deceptive, or false source‑identifying information.
- Do not interfere with or disrupt the access of any user, host, or network (e.g., sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming, mail‑bombing, or scripting content/account creation in a way that burdens the Services).
Crawling & scraping
Crawling the Services is allowed if done in accordance with the provisions of our robots.txt file, but scraping the Services is prohibited.
Changes, termination, or restrictions
We may change, terminate, or restrict access to any aspect of the Services, at any time, without notice.
Incorporated rules & policies
By using the Services, you agree to let Tournado collect and use information as detailed in our Privacy Policy. If you’re outside the Republic of India, you consent to letting Tournado transfer, store, and process your information (including personal information and content) in and out of the Republic of India. By using Tournado, you agree to follow these rules and policies. If you don’t, we may remove content, or suspend or delete your account.
Miscellaneous
Disclaimer of warranty
Tournado provides the Services to you as is. You use them at your own risk and discretion. No warranties (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, security, title, or non‑infringement.
Limitation of liability
Tournado won’t be liable to you for any damages that arise from your using the Services, including if the Services are hacked or unavailable. This includes indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, and all kinds of legal claims (breach of contract/warranty, tort, or other loss).
No waiver
If Tournado doesn’t exercise a particular right under these Terms, that doesn’t waive it.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the court should try to give effect to the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision; the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
Choice of law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Indian law, without reference to its conflict of laws provisions. Any suit arising from the Services must take place in a court located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Entire agreement
These Terms (including any document incorporated by reference) are the whole agreement between Tournado and you concerning the Services.
Privacy & Cookie Policy
This Policy becomes effective immediately for unregistered users and for users registering accounts or otherwise acknowledging the Policy on or after the revision date. The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is effective from May 25, 2018 for EU‑resident users who are natural persons. If you object after it becomes effective for you, you may no longer use the Platform.
We, TOURNADO, as the data controller ("TOURNADO", "we", or "us"), explain how we collect, process and/or use information via our Mobile Application(s), Website(s) and emails (the “Platforms”). This Policy describes how TOURNADO collects, processes, uses, shares and secures the personal information you provide and your choices regarding use, access, and correction.
A. Introduction of TOURNADO
This Policy applies to the Mobile Application across different OS platforms and the Website www.tournado.co.in, operated and owned by SHANTI RAYON MILLS. The site may contain links to other websites; we are not responsible for their privacy policies or practices.
B. Users’ consent to the information we collect
By using or visiting the Platform, you consent to this Privacy Policy and to TOURNADO’s processing of Personal Information for the purposes given under the Terms & Conditions and this Policy. We may collect personal data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person and sensitive personal data as permitted by law.
By registering, managing your profile, or opting‑in when presented with choices, you explicitly consent to uses including: account creation; profile creation for uploading pictures and tracking matches/tournaments; enabling platform functionality based on provided/third‑party/advertiser information; additional communications and promotions; service‑related communications; informing you of services from TOURNADO or affiliates; enabling feedback and surveys; providing information related to your activity; networking features; search engine access to public information; detecting and preventing policy violations and illegal activities; providing products and services to network and compare profiles; generating internal reports; and providing certain data to third parties as required.
TOURNADO does not expose your contact information (e.g., mobile number, email) to third parties except if specifically requested by Tournament Organizers. Profile information may be visible to advertisers or other registered users. We may share information with tools such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Google Maps Services, Twilio, AWS (EC2 and S3).
C. Information given by you
When you register, contact us, respond to surveys, or use features, you may provide personal information (e.g., name, mobile number). We also collect and store certain information associated with actions you take (searches, clicks, time and duration on Platform, behaviour). You may create a Profile that can be viewed by other users (contact info in its entirety is not made public). Connecting via Social Networking Sites may share authorized info with us. Do not include sensitive personal data (e.g., racial/ethnic origin, health data) on the platform.
D. Information we collect automatically
We automatically receive device and usage information (e.g., IP, device type, OS, page views, clicks, location if enabled). Technologies include cookies, web beacons, local storage, and mobile identifiers. We use cookies for authentication and analytics; you may manage cookies via your browser settings (functionality may be affected). Log file information and device information are also collected.
E. How we use information
We use collected information to provide, personalize, improve, and secure our services; provide relevant advertising (non‑PII); send newsletters and communications; respond to enquiries; conduct internal operations; communicate with you; analyze Platform use; create aggregate data; and for other purposes you authorize. Non‑Personal Information may be used/disclosed for any lawful purpose. Data are stored on our servers and transferred via encrypted channels where applicable. Internet transmission is not fully secure; use is at your own risk.
F. Information and data used for general purposes
- Improve our Platform and user experience.
- Improve service and respond to queries; send account‑related updates and occasional news.
- Legal purposes, including compliance with law enforcement and protection of rights and safety.
- Other protections against fraud and misuse.
G. How we share information
We disclose personal information to service providers under confidentiality to deliver our services; to comply with laws; to enforce our Terms & Conditions; to protect rights and safety; in reorganization or sale (subject to commitments herein); and as permitted by law. Certain non‑identifying information may be shared. Personal information is shared with your consent.
H. Information sharing & third‑party disclosures
We use collected information to operate and improve the Platform. With consent, we may inform you of products/services from us or affiliates. We may share information with state/district associations, clubs, organizers, etc., for scoring/live‑score purposes. Your account may be visible to other users. We may transfer information if TOURNADO is acquired/merged. We use YouTube APIs for live streaming; see YouTube Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy.
I. EEA resident rights
EEA residents may access, correct, update, or request deletion of personal information by contacting us at thetournadoapp@gmail.com. You may opt‑out of marketing communications; withdraw consent; and complain to a data protection authority. We respond in accordance with applicable law and may retain data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Choices regarding your personal information
We send notifications and, if opted‑in, promotional communications. Service announcements may be necessary; to stop receiving, deactivate your account. See Cookie Policy/Ad Choices to manage automated collection.
Close your account
To close your TOURNADO account, email thetournadoapp@gmail.com. On closure, personal info (phone, profile picture, DOB) is unlinked. Match scores and related information remain without linking to your specific account.
Data retention
We retain personal information as long as needed to provide the Platform and for the purposes described, based on legal, contractual, operational, and archival criteria.
Security safeguards
We employ technical, organizational, and physical measures to secure your personal information. Due to the open nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee complete security. Keep your login credentials confidential. While we use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Tips for responsible use of TOURNADO
- Do not send money or share sensitive information with others via email or the Platform.
- Beware of suspicious requests; TOURNADO will not ask for certain information.
- Do not include sensitive personal information in your account.
- Report suspicious activity to thetournadoapp@gmail.com and local authorities if needed.
J. Privacy of minors
To access or use the Platform you should be 18+ or use it under supervision/approval of a parent/guardian or responsible adult. If you become aware that a child provided personal information without consent, contact us.
K. Data controller
Information collected through the Platform is controlled by SHANTI RAYON MILLS. TOURNADO services are hosted/provided outside the EEA, including the United States. We use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions) for international transfers.

L. Updates to our Privacy Policy
We may revise this Policy by posting an updated version on the Platform. The revised Policy is effective as described at the beginning. If a change materially reduces your rights or increases responsibilities, we will provide notice (e.g., email or site notice) prior to effectiveness where appropriate. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the current Policy.
M. Tournado Terms of Service
Use of the TOURNADO Service is governed by, and subject to, the Terms & Conditions as uploaded on the Mobile App/Website. This Privacy Policy should be read in consonance with such terms.

We reserve the right to change the Terms and Privacy Policy from time to time as per Indian laws and EU GDPR guidelines without prior intimation. Continued use signifies acceptance. We assume no liability for disclosure due to transmission errors, unauthorized access, or causes beyond our control. Users are responsible for protecting their own classified/personal information. Keep your credentials secret. While we follow accepted standards and employ third‑party services, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
